PRINCETON, Mass. — Police found the body of 27-year-old Vanessa Marcotte this morning in Princeton. The woman went for a run Sunday and never returned.

Visiting family from NYC
The woman lived in New York City, but was visiting her mom when she went for a run and never made it home. Her body was found less than a half mile from her mother's Princeton home.
Worked at Google
According to her Linkedin page, Vanessa has been working for Google in NYC since January 2015.
“Vanessa Marcotte was a much loved member of the Google team, working in our New York office for the last year and a half, and known for her ubiquitous smile, passion for volunteer work, and love of Boston sports. We are deeply shocked and saddened, and our thoughts are with her family and friends,” Google told FOX25.
Prior to her job at Google, Vanessa worked for Vistaprint for 2 years.
"We are shocked and heartbroken to hear the news about Vanessa. She was always incredibly friendly and positive, and her smart, creative and innovative approach to her work made a huge impact here at Vistaprint. She truly cared about those around her and always made an effort to forge strong relationships. Our thoughts are with her family and friends during this difficult time," Vistaprint told FOX25.

BU Grad
BU spokesperson Colin Riley told FOX25 Vanessa graduated with honors from the College of Communication in 2011.
"We're so terribly sad for her family and friends. They're in our thoughts and prayers," Riley said.
Leominster Native
Vanessa was a Leominster native, Mass State Police said in a news conference Monday. She graduated from The Bancroft School in Worcester in 2007.
Avid Runner
Vanessa ran the Falmouth Road Race in 2013 and 2014 and posted links to her fundraiser pages on her Twitter account.
