BOSTON — Five people were arrested Monday after a drug bust at a Charlestown restaurant.
Boston police officers executed a warrant around 1:30 p.m. Monday at the D'Rafa Restaurant on Bunker Hill Street.
Inside the restaurant, police seized one-half kilogram of fentanyl, 29 plastic bags of cocaine and 10 plastic bags of heroin. Officers also found $7,144 in US currency.
Officers arrested 46-year-old Rafael Pimental, 28-year-old Juan Guerrero-Torres, 60-year-old Matea Sanchez, 23-year-old Rosselys Pimental-Melo, and 40-year-old Ada Mejia-Mejia, all of Charlestown. The suspects were charged with drug trafficking.
D'Rafa Restaurant was immediately shut down.
