LYNN, Mass. — A 2-year-old boy has died after being pulled from a swimming pool on Friday evening, according to Essex County District Attorney Jonathan W. Blodgett.
Police and firefighters in Lynn responded to reports for a possible drowning in Lynn at around 6:20 p.m.

Officials received a 911 call at about 6:20 p.m. for a child found unresponsive in a swimming pool.
At the scene, first responders performed CPR on the 2-year-old child.
The child was then rushed to the Children's Hospital in Salem by ambulance, where he was later pronounced dead.
Foul play was not expected to be a factor, and police are investigating the incident.
