LAWRENCE, Mass. — Two people were taken to a hospital and a firefighter was hurt after a fire at a duplex in Lawrence.
Heavy smoke and flames were seen coming from the home in video provided by a witness to Boston 25 News.
The fire was reported on Park Street just before 11 p.m.
Fire officials said two women inside the home were taken to a hospital to be treated for burns.
The unidentified firefighter was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
Boston 25 News was told the right half of the home is now a total loss.
The Red Cross is assisting nine people.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
