MARLBOROUGH, Mass. — Two people accused of robbing a Vietnam veteran's home while he was fighting for his life in the hospital were issued no contact orders and released on $1,000 bail Thurdsay.
Marlborough Police arrested Sarah Hampton, 31, of Sudbury, and Joseph Migliaccio, 35, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, Wednesday and charged eatch with two counts of breaking and entering and larceny.
Surveillance video captured thieves ransacking the home three times over the weekend and taking items like TVs, appliances and a jar of money, then loading it all into a car.

Gene Rano, 68, a Vietnam veteran and owner of the home, is currently in a medically-induced coma after suffering serious burns to more than 40% of his body after a fire earlier this month while burning brush near his Marlborough home.
Police tell Boston 25 News that both Hampton and Migliaccio did, in fact, know that Rano was injured in a fire and would not be home, and said the two were certainly not guests.
Migliaccio told Boston 25 News the pair "had permission to go there," and said he didn't know anything when asked if he had taken Rano's TVs.

"I don't know what you've seen, but his son doesn't know the relationship that me, Gene and Sarah have."
Rano's son says he believes he's seen Hampton and Migliaccio socializing with his father in the past and feels they may have preyed on the home, knowing Rano wasn't going to be there.
Police say Rano's items were retrieved from a pawn shop in Framingham.
