BOSTON — A 54-year-old person was rushed to a Boston hospital, among two people who were shot in the Jamaica Plain area of the city, police said.
The shooting occurred in the area of 928 Parker St. around 8:35 p.m. Wednesday.
Police said the victim sent to the hospital was shot in the face and hip.
A second person was also shot but refused to be taken to the hospital, police said.
Both victims were inside a car and were shot at by two suspects from outside the car.
Police say the shooting, which remains under investigation, is likely gang-related.
