AMHERST, N.H. — A 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in a shooting in Amherst, New Hampshire, the Attorney General's office said.
Officials said the incident that led to the death of 23-year-old Brandon Kluz happened around 1 a.m. Thursday on Baboosic Lake Road in Amherst. Bryson Peluso, 27, is alleged to have shot Kluz with a handgun. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday morning, the AG's office said.
Few details on the shooting have been released but the AG's office said in a statement that Peluso is charged with recklessly causing the death of Kluz "under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life by shooting him with a handgun."
