BOSTON — The two Boston Police officers who went viral for their "Cop Pool Karaoke," video were personally asked by newly-appointed Boston Police Commissioner William Gross to sing at his swearing in ceremony.
Officer Kim Tavares posted a video to her Twitter page on Saturday where she and Officer Stephen McNulty appeared to be practicing singing the national anthem.

Both officers are seen in the video harmonizing together and making sure they were in the correct range.
Mayor Marty Walsh announced earlier this week the ceremony will be held at Morning Star Baptist Church on Monday, where Superintendent-in-Chief William G. Gross will be sworn in as Boston’s 42nd police commissioner.
Deputy Gross was appointed to succeed Boston Police Commissioner William Evans. He will be the first African-American commissioner of the Boston Police.
Gross has served the Boston Police force for 33, serving as a patrolman in several districts, as well as in the gang and drug control units.
