FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Rolling in like champs! The New England Patriots are back home in Foxborough with their sixth Lombardi Trophy.

As Patriots players soak in the team’s sixth Super Bowl victory, fans are living it up along with them. On Monday, fans and players met as the team returned to Gillette Stadium after a long night of partying.

Fans lined up waiting for team buses to try and catch a glimpse of their newly minted champs; it was a euphoric moment in Patriots Nation.

Finally, at around 3 p.m., the team returned to show off their shiny Lombardi. Jason McCourty made his rounds, then spoke in the locker room.

"I'm excited about these duck boats that they got going on," McCourty said. "I heard they are pretty cool."

Before Tuesday’s duck boat parade, Ken Lizotte had to bring his children to Patriot Place.

"We just want to get something that says, 'Six rings, Super Bowl champs,'" said the Blackstone resident.

His son, Danny, needs a jersey. His daughter, Susan, says she might like a t-shirt that says, 'Super Bowl champs.'

They already have a nice collection of championship shirts at home, but say you can never have enough.

Danny went on to say that he watched the game with a friend who was rooting for the rams. All he said to him was, "Nice job with the three points."

Not even 24 hours removed from edging the Los Angeles Rams, 13-3, in Super Bowl LIII, the Patriots returned to their home in New England to begin their much-deserved off-season.

For the third time in five years they'll do so as the NFL's best.

The now six-time Super Bowl champions tweeted out their return moments before their arrival at TF Green Airport in Warwick, R.I.
