CHICAGO — You’ve heard of hot pants. A Chicago man is introducing frozen pants to area residents.
Adam Selzer has been freezing pairs of pants so they stand alone, stiff and upright, WBBM reported. The tour guide has been taking photographs of the frozen britches in parking spaces near his home. It almost looks like Selzer, a Chicago tour guide, is reserving parking spots the way people would place a cone or a chair to call first dibs on a place to park one’s vehicle, the television station reported.
The frigid pants went viral after Selzer began posting pictures on Twitter.
“Polar vortex fun: pants with nobody inside them! Soak a pair, put outside,” Selzer tweeted. “In about 20 minutes you can form them to shape, and in another 20 they’re solid.”
Because you demanded it: dibs! (In a no parking zone, no less) pic.twitter.com/s7zAyBrg48

Now, Selzer is going for the full wardrobe look.
“The one thing I tried this time that I haven’t before is I also froze a couple of shirts, so we’ll see if this works,” Selzer told WBBM.
Selzer told the television station that he was simply trying to remain engaged since his “Mysterious Chicago” tours can only be done virtually.
