You better pack your patience if you’re heading to the Wrentham Outlets for Black Friday deals.

A video shared by Wrentham Police Chief Bill McGrath showed a miles-long line of vehicles on Interstate 495 approaching Wrentham.

“Everyone seems happy & nice in spite of insane traffic. Tis the season I guess,” McGrath said in a tweet. “If you lose patience in traffic, reverse direction, go home, eat leftovers, shop another time. Enjoy the sales!”

At 8 a.m., McGrath reported three miles of traffic built up near the ramps to the highway. He also said traffic on Route 1A to the Outlets entrance was “no better.”

“Oh boy! Traffic backup hit hard and early...Be prepared to crawl and stop. Patience is a virtue,” McGrath added.

At the Burlington Mall, Black Friday got off to a much slower start. From big box stores to shopping centers, there weren’t many crowds to contend with.
