TOPSFIELD, Mass. — If you’re heading to the 203rd Topsfield Fair next month, you’ll need to have a mask handy regardless of your vaccination status.
Anyone attending the fair must wear a face covering while inside any buildings on the fairgrounds, regardless of vaccination status, according to a mandate by the Topsfield Board of Health.
Masks will also be required in the following areas regardless of vaccination status:
- In First Aid stations and any area in which first aid is being administered;
- On Public Safety personnel and others assisting with first aid or similar emergencies;
- On all shuttles to and from the Topsfield Fair including employee vans and other group transportation;
- Within the vaccination site on the Fairgrounds
Unvaccinated staff or staff not fully vaccinated will continue to follow the fair’s previous policy of self-certification prior to each shift and must wear a mask until this policy changes, according to the fair’s website.
The fair runs from Oct. 1 to Oct. 11.
