A car fire on the MassPike in Southborough caused heavy traffic buildup Sunday afternoon, according to Massachusetts State Police.
According to MSP, the enflamed vehicle caused traffic backups in the eastbound lane.

Video shared by MSP captures billowing clouds of black smoke pouring out of the vehicle.
Police did not state whether any injuries were sustained.
The scene was cleared and the normal flow of traffic was restored at approximately 4:45 p.m.
