BILLERICA, Mass. — Firefighters spent hours battling a blaze that tore through a scrapyard in Billerica overnight.
Crews responding to Holland Used Auto Parts at 1 Winning Road around 9 p.m. Thursday were greeted by thick smoke and fire.
Drone video captured by a Boston 25 photographer showed several burning vehicles on the property.
Crews worked for about six hours to contain the fire, preventing the flames from spreading to any buildings.
There were no reported injuries.
An investigation is ongoing.
