Close call for Brockton firefighters as burning truck explodes

BROCKTON, Mass. — A very close call for firefighters in Brockton on Friday afternoon. A truck that was on fire exploded on firefighters as crews moved in to put the flames out.
It happened around 3:30 p.m. at Toby Road, between North Cary and North Quincy Streets.
The video is proof that no call is routine.

There did not appear to be any injuries to the fire crews on the scene.
