BOSTON — Six adults and four children are now without a home after a structure fire occurred on Hazelton Street in Mattapan Sunday morning.

Crews arrived on scene shortly after 9 a.m. to a 2.5 story wood-framed house with smoking coming from the second-floor window.
The Boston Fire Department told Boston 25 that all residents were able to make it out safely and that there were no reported injuries among those who lived there. But there was one firefighter who was transported for a hand injury.

Fire officials added that the total cost of damage is approximately $250,000 and that the cause for the fire remains under investigation at this time.
