NORTON, Mass. — Several crews worked to extinguish fires on 10 trash trucks at a waste facility in Norton early Monday morning.
Fire officials in Mansfield said they responded around 6 a.m. to reports that 10 trash trucks were on fire at the Hill Street facility.
Crews from Norton, Mansfield, Taunton, North Attleboro and Easton all responded to the scene, while crews from Raynham and Rehoboth provided fire coverage for Norton.
It’s unknown what caused the fires on the trucks.
No injuries were reported.
The incident remains under investigation.
