1 person stabbed in Mattapan

BOSTON — One person was stabbed in the city’s Mattapan neighborhood on Monday evening, police said.

The male victim suffered non-life-threatening stab wounds to the leg, police said.

His condition was not immediately known. Details on what led to the stabbing were also not available.

Officers responded to Holmfield Avenue around 8:30 p.m. Monday.

Anyone with information on the stabbing is asked to call Boston Police.
